Books will be collected during the first three weeks of March.

Sales will begin third week in March.

Proceeds will go to procurement of "Flip Video Cameras"
for student use in the CMS Library Media Center
in the creation of multi-media presentations.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks to everyone who helped

make this year's Book Drive a success!

We earned enough to reward two classes with doughnuts and OJ and obtain our Flip Video Camera. In fact thanks to the Digital Wish we were able to obtain two Flip Cameras for the price of one.

Students,
Do you remember going to your first library Book Fair? I do. I also remember my children begging me to buy a book at their school library Book Fair. During the week of September 21st Centerville Middle School Library Media Center is having a Book Fair and you are invited to attend this celebration of books and reading.
As we grow older it is important to keep books in our lives. Students who remain readers are more likely to be lifelong learners. "Readers develop larger vocabularies, a greater knowledge of the world, and higher academic achievement." This Book Fair is a wonderful way for you to get books to read and share. There will be books that make you laugh, cry, and help you understand the world around you.
You can come examine the Fair books before school, after school, and during flex. If you are lucky one of your teachers will bring your class to the library to examine, select, and purchase books. You are also invited to visit the Fair during Parent’s Night on Thursday evening. You can create wish lists to give to your parents and you can also donate books to be placed in your teacher's classrooms.
Any profits made from the Book Fair will be used for the purchase of library and classroom books and materials. We looking forward to seeing you @The Book Fair.
Sincerely,
Your Librarian
